Sylvie Simmons is an award-winning writer, a celebrated music jornalist, the author of fiction and non-fiction books, and a singer-songwriter recording artist. Born in London, she moved to Los Angeles in the late 1970s to write for publications, including The Guardian, MOJO, Rolling Stone, and Creem. Her latest book is the New York Times bestseller, I’m Your Man: The Life of Leonard Cohen. Simmons currently lives in San Francisco.
