Hometown literary stars Michael Chabon and Ayelet Waldman hardly need introductions. Last year we were fortunate to have them as our honorary Co-Chairs, and they have been among our honored authors numerous times. They are both prolific writers and profoundly busy people, but they are also tremendous library supporters and, as such, have agreed to take time on a very special night in April to dine with other library supporters.

Michael is an award-winning novelist, screenwriter and short-story writer. He won the Pulitzer Prize for The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay, and his latest work, Telelgraph Avenue, is a “huge-hearted, funny, improbably hip book,” said the Boston Globe. Ayelet is an acclaimed novelist and essayist. Her book Bad Mother: A Chronicle of Maternal Crimes, Minor Calamities, and Occasional Moments of Grace was a New York Times bestseller, and her essays have appeared in the New York Times, Vogue and elsewhere.

It’s hard to imagine two more scintillating dinner companions! Join them in the lovely private dining room at Oliveto. In its 25+ years Oliveto has become a dining institution yet still turns out creative, cutting-edge cuisine. This is a special opportunity you won’t want to miss!

This event will take place on
Sunday, April 27th at 6:00 pm.
